Have you ever felt the words sear your mind “Is this ever going to happen?” or “How much longer do I need to wait?” You have a watch but God has a calendar and His timetable is completely different than yours.
So why does God have me waiting so much? That is what frustrates me about God.
We have a misconception of delay & waiting…there is a pain but a process that happens during waiting and delay
ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS….waiting and delay is not a punishment season , it’s maturing season.
God never gives without preparing the receiver for the gift.
How come I’m not married?
How come I’m not in ministry?
The great commentary writer, Matthew Henry, says this about waiting for God: “Cast not away your confidence because God defers his performances. That which does not come in your time, will be hastened in his time, which is always the more convenient season. God will work when he pleases, how he pleases, and by what means he pleases. He is not bound to keep our time, but he will perform his word, honour our faith, and reward them that diligently seek him. “
To pursue to make these things (marriage, ministry, etc.) happen before their time is in reality sabotage.
